Dial800 to meet and greet partners at next Affiliate Summit

Dial800 to meet and greet partners

Dial800 representatives will be among some 5,500 digital marketers from more than 70 countries learning about industry trends at Affiliate Summit East 2017, scheduled for July 30 through Aug. 1 in New York.

Because Dial800’s business model is based on online and offline ads that drive phone calls for clients, its attendees will focus on meeting industry movers and shakers in affiliate marketing — and on learning the latest industry trends and issues. Through affiliate marketing, a business pays commission to partners that drive business their way via their websites or other means.

The annual conference and trade show primarily attracts representatives from affiliates, affiliate management firms, advertisers, OPM/agencies, solution providers and networks. Three trade show areas will show the wares of affiliates, merchants, vendors, networks, technology providers, digital agencies and traffic sources, and some 81 industry players are set to speak on a wide variety of topics. Samples include: “Building a $120K Website with Lean Methodology and 80 Bucks,” “Technology Will Save Us from Our Affiliate Ills,” “Understanding Amazon’s Effects on Your Affiliate Program” and “Increase the Digital Ad Shelf Life.” The three keynote speakers:

  • Joe Theismann: Now overseer of a 40-year-old Washington, DC, restaurant that bears his name, Theismann was formerly star quarterback for the Washington Redskins. A 12-year NFL veteran, he played in 163 consecutive games from 1974-1985 and holds Redskin records for passing yardage (25,206), completions (2.044) and attempts (3,602). The two-time Pro Bowl selection led Washington to a 27-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII. After retiring from the sport, he spent two seasons as an NFL analyst for CBS Sports before joining ESPN to appear on their NFL broadcast and the NFL Network for two decades.
  • Larry Kim: Kim founded WordStream, the world-leading PPC software firm that now manages some $1 billion in annual ad spend for more than 10,000 customers worldwide. Free tools Kim has developed for Facebook Ads, Google AdWords and Keyword Research have logged more than 1 million users worldwide. In 2015, he won Search Marketer of the Year awards from Search Engine Land, PPC Hero and the U.S. Search Awards.
  • JB Glossinger: AKA “The Morning Coach,” Glossinger hosts a daily podcast of the same name that’s logged 22 million downloads in the past decade. Glossinger’s four books include the best-selling “The Sacred 6: The Simple Step-by-Step Process for Focusing Your Attention & Recovering Your Dreams.” He’s also host of the Hay House radio show “The Lifestyle Entrepreneur” and a syndicated columnist for national news magazine chain The Business Journals. He holds both an MBA and a PhD and has studied human potential, performance and happiness for longer than 30 years.

Virginia-based event producer Affiliate Summit Inc. founded the conference in 2003. Since then, more than 36 summits have been held in various locations across the U.S., all aimed at informing on the latest industry issues and fostering a productive networking environment for affiliate marketers. Co-sponsors include Performance Marketing Summit, FeedFront Magazine, GeekCast.fm, AffStat.com and ReveNews.com.
