Toll-free meets torts: Dial800 crew to connect with lawyers at MTMP event

Specialists from Dial800 will be exhibiting at the Mass Torts Made Perfect (MTMP) conference April 26-28 in Las Vegas, Nevada – at Foyer booth #2.

The legal segment has become a top target market for the phone-oriented firms, largely because its marketing goals often jibe perfectly with pay-per-call and other phone-based campaigns. Memorable vanity numbers such as 1-800-LAWFIRM, 1-800-DONT-LOSE or 1-800-MY-ATTORNEY can go a long way toward helping would-be plaintiffs differentiate tort practices from the competition, especially when promoted with effective advertising and/or live call centers. One study shows 76 percent of adults seeking an attorney use online resources for their searches, creating huge promotional opportunities for vanity numbers.

This year, the three-day conference is slated to attract 1,000 participants including representatives form 450 law firms across the U.S., with presentations to include 85 speakers discussing at least 50 mass torts topics. Considered one of the largest of its kind in the world, the biennial event is geared toward individuals working in plaintiff mass torts, personal injury litigation, securities and toxic torts. Topics range from prescription drugs to defective products, investment fraud, consumer fraud and business litigation.

Marketing-oriented presentations this year include “Improving Marketing and Conversion Through Information Technology,” “Top 10 Tools to Train Your Intake Team and Double Your Lead Conversion Rate” and “Understanding How New Top-Level Domains Affect Your Online Marketing Strategy & Branding.” On April 27, comedian Jeff Foxworthy will entertain, while five legal specialists will be inducted into the MTMP Hall of Fame. Dial800 will be one of at least 66 exhibitors.

Founded in 2000 by Florida-based law firm Levin Papantonio, the MTMP conference is now led by partners Fred Levin, Mike Papantonio and Mark Proctor, in addition to Keith Givens of The National Trial Lawyers.  Past speakers have included President Bill Clinton, Elie Wiesel, Jack Kemp, Ted Koppel, Bob Woodward, Dan Rather, Arianna Huffington, Bill Maher, Pete Rose, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Theismann, Joe Namath, Wanda Sykes, Johnnie Cochran, Jason Alexander, George Lopez, Cedric the Entertainer, Lewis Black, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Martin Short, Emmitt Smith and Sarah Silverman.

The next MTMP event is set for Oct. 18-20, also in Las Vegas.
