Dial800 team to go another round at Response Expo

This year’s Response Expo convention is expected to be a real knockout, and specialists from Dial800 will be there to take part.

In honor of keynote speaker Sugar Ray Leonard, the company will sponsor a boxing-themed exhibitor’s booth in addition to sponsoring the event’s official golf tournament. The annual convention is slated to take place in San Diego April 25-27, attracting some 3,350 direct-to-consumer marketing professionals ranging from lead generators to media specialists to back-end service providers. Their companies generate us much as $500 million in annual revenue.

“A reliable supply chain is imperative,” notes the event website. “Response Expo is where you’ll meet expert-level vendors with the solutions to create a flawless consumer journey.”

Dial800 is an alumnus of the event produced by Response Magazine, having sponsored the event for six years previous. Dial800 CEO James Diorio is leading the panel discussion on purchasing as part of “The Consumer Journey: The Consumer’s Perspective”; a five session look at the consumer’s experience.

This year, attendees can expect 15 panel discussions featuring 29 speakers, a product and service fair, seven inductions into the Direct Response Hall of Fame and multiple networking opportunities. Other panel discussions range from “Video is the New Black” to “The Amazon Effect”. In one event, leaders of five companies nominated for Marketer of the Year by trade group the Direct Response Marketing Alliance will be part of a round table discussion.

Legendary boxer Leonard will talk about the life and career he profiled in his autobiography“The Big Fight: My Life in and out of the Ring.” The Olympic hero, six-time champion, philanthropist, actor and TV show host describes how he once waged his own personal battle with depression, rage, addiction and greed. In 2016, the movie “Hands of Stone” portrayed his boxing bouts with Roberto Duran. Today, Leonard is a sought-after motivational/inspirational speaker, with his presentation called “POWER” (Prepare, Overcome, and Win Every Round) consistently booked among Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and abroad.
